  • Kent Taylor, trained by Al Gore and The Climate Project, is authorized to present an updated version of the slide show seen in the movie An Inconvenient Truth.
Synopsis:
Mr. Taylor, who is the owner of a local consulting firm, Prairie Resource Group, has been lecturing about Global Warming and its effects on our oceans since the 1980s as a volunteer presenter and diver at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. He is one of only 900 people so far trained by Mr. Gore and given permission to share his presentation with the public.
In laymen’s terms learn the science behind the widely accepted theory of global warming. This presentation will reveal new data and explore additional areas of interest. There will be plenty of time for questions and comments. Skeptics, supporters and other critical thinkers are expected and welcome. To begin to address our climate crisis with action and empowerment, some simple things we can do in our homes and communities to lower our collective carbon footprint will be discussed.
